  • Comments Off on Update Your Twitter Status From MSN

twToday being communicated (or online) most of the time is essential. Instant messaging programs and social networks are often our meeting place (virtual) friends, associates or acquaintances.

That’s why I found an interesting comment about the MSN app that integrates with Twitter. His name is Twessenger, and allows us to update our Windows Live Messenger status with the last message posted on Twitter.

Perhaps to many it may seem unnecessary, however if you use MSN much, this tool can make things easier, especially if you work as a freelance or spend too much time online.

Yesterday, the official Google AdSense blog announced a comprehensive update ads show style, this update involves three styles: 728×90, 300×250 201008101029366044and 336×280 ad style. google-adsense

There are many online advertising programs, but one of the most used by webmasters to make money, is the famous Google program, Adsense.

What is this simply a contextual advertising system for your Web site that analyzes the contents, and advertising segments, and direct it according to certain keywords. This means for example that if you write your blog on alcohol, it is more likely to display advertising of beer, wine, etc.. That way, readers will be tempted to click on the advertisement, because it is a topic that interests them.

Google simply links to the advertiser, who is interested in selling the product, and the owner of a website to display such advertising. In return, obviously gets a juicy commission. Charged, at first, to show your product, and gives the latter a minimum percentage of that figure, keeping most of it. Simple no. Genial!

Now, many people wonder, is it easy to make money using Google Adsense?, Why not create my own website and I put advertising?

To begin with, only after you have more than 500 visits a day, you can think of advertising for your site. And this is just the beginning, look, a site with some 2,500 visitors a day, you can hopefully expect to earn $ 100 a month. Also you got the other end, where sites or blogs are generating an average of U.S. $ s 6,000 per month, combining different advertising programs (not just Adsense) and a level of more than 500,000 visits daily. Tomorrow I have to present orally for a long time, and to dust off old notes (abstracting of books) to remember the following tips.

The tips may be helpful to students who must give an oral examination or persons to be submitted to a job interview or for those who must prepare a class.

While some tips are very basic, I think it does not hurt to review them from time to time.

Here is the list:

1 .- The first thing is to feel comfortable with your appearance. Therefore, it is important to dress in a manner befitting to the occasion and let us be comfortable with ourselves. It is important to have a natural appearance.
2 .- Previously, it is important to visualize the situation.
3 .- Smile and greet with cordial and respectful manner.
4 .- Find something original to present a different view, "proper."
5 .- When you want to give the impression of safety, keep your head up.
6 .- Talk calmly and quietly relax helps to modulate our voice. (I talk a mile a minute, so remember it suits me, ha).
7 .- For good communication is fundamental to good use on breaks.
8 .- oral presentations should use short sentences.
9 .- If we use words or scientific techniques, where possible we give examples.
10 .- Try to be concise. Do not overload each sentence with insignificant details.

Hope you have served. Can you think or know other tips?

Many of us use multiple accounts on different social networks every day, where we have a lot of information (contacts, photos, links, etc). Yet, few question what would we do if our account was deleted by mistake thinking it was spam or if you lose all social network accounts for any technical problems or attack on the same network. Rather, it is always better to have a backup just in case.

Here I share some tools to start making backup copies to several of our accounts in social networks.

TweetBackup

TweetBackup is a free application that allows you to backup your twitter account automatically. In addition, you need not save anything on your computer if you want because the backup is stored on your website. However, just allows you to download copies of your tweets into text.

ArchiveFacebook

ArchiveFacebook is a firefox extension that allows you to save the contents of your Facebook account to your hard drive. With this extension, you get a copy of your web pages with your facebook account pictures, messages, contacts, notes, events and groups.

Last week I talked about my favorite Firefox add-on to the Google PageRank, Alexa Rank and display the data link to a site called Search Status.

This week I want to mention, another useful extension for the same purpose, called SeoQuake.

I like the rule of the research because it is very easy to use, but you want to collect as much data as possible on websites, then SeoQuake is a must, because it comes with many more features.

Once you install it you’ll be able to view a wide range of SEO parameters on the fly, on a separate toolbar. How many parameters are? A lot, here is the list:

  • Yahoo Index
Number of indexed pages. Yahoo version.
  • Yahoo link
Number of links, pointing to the current page. Yahoo version (Except links from concerned domain).
  • Yahoo Linkdomain (LD)

  • Yahoo Linkdomain2 (LD2)

    • Comments Off on Five Great Web Design Tools

HERE ARE SOME BEST WEB DESIGN TOOLS TO HELP GET A BETTER BLOG DESIGN. FOR NOVICE WEB DESIGNERS, DESIGNING A BLOG CAN BE A TIME CONSUMING AND ARDUOUS EXPERIENCE. LEARNING CSS AND HTML CODE CAN BE CHALLENGING ENOUGH, BUT WITHOUT THE RIGHT TOOLS, IT MAKES WEB DESIGN THAT MUCH MORE DIFFICULT. BELOW ARE SOME GREAT TOOLS TO THROW INTO YOUR WEB DESIGN TOOLBOX.

    1、Colour Lovers

    ColourLovers

If you are looking for backgrounds or patterns to use on your website or Twitter page, Colour Lovers has a ton of ways to create patterns or your own palettes for background images. I used this to create a Twitter background, and am considering using it for my website background.

The site is made up of a community where people from all over the world share patterns or palettes on the website. The site allows developers to browse, create, and search themes, patterns, palettes, or colors. There are also design tools like ColorSchemer or Themeleon to help design page backgrounds.

    2、Hex to RGB Converter

    hex-RGB

While there are many of these out there, I have found 321Webmaster’s the most reliable and handy to put in my web design tool belt. Before I began digging into my website’s code, I had no idea what a hex code or RGB stood for. In computer language, everything is code and very specific code is used to get specific colors.  We are way past the jumbo 64 colors Crayola box when it comes to web design colors available.

A hexadecimal value, or HEX, is some crazy mathematical equation used to tell a computer what color to use.  When designing a web page, HTML code will use a hex value or RGB, or (R)ed, (G)reen, and (B)lue, each color having an assigned number between 0 and 255. However, in web design, code can be in either the hex code format or RGB, so it is handy to have a converter to get each of the values.

     3、Firebug

    Firebug
    Firebug

Firebug is a web development tool I discovered by accident.  Another web designer was looking at my blog, and emailed me some suggested improvements. I had no idea how that person knew some of my code, so I asked. The reply was Firebug.

Firebug is a Firefox web development tool that allows users to peek inside the CSS, HTML, and Javascript of any website on the web browser. It gives users a way to check out elements on an HTML page. From here you can tweak Javascript, CSS, or HTML on any live site. There are also diagnostic and debugging tools along with several plugin extensions to augment your Firebug plugin.

    4、 Pingdom

    pingdom

Have you ever wondered how long it takes your site to load on a web browser?  This may not only affect your SERP, but also how willing visitors are willing to wait for your site to appear. In the real world, 20 seconds may not seem like a lot, but in the search engine world, this can be an eternity.

Pingdom loads your full page, including all HTML objects such as images, CSS, etc. Essentially, it checks you website by mimicking how a page would actually load in a web browser. When the test is complete, you will view detailed information and statistics about your website, including load time for various objects.

     5、 Colour Lovers

    • Comments Off on Android Open Source, Good Or Not Good?

For some time Google launched on the market its first mobile phone, called HTC Dream, aka G1 (a Google phone), came after the famous Apple iPhone. The Google phone has been put in opposition to the iphone just dominating the smartphone market, including its open source aspect.

Its operating system “Android” a free operating system, source code is therefore open to anyone interested, but mostly the Android Market, Google’s equivalent of the App Store from Apple makes the subject to any control on the part of Google applications that are offered freely by the developers. Contrary to Apple, a developer can submit their application without having been previously validated by a pre-moderation, something which, as we know, takes time and is not infallible. While in theory, the idea has many advantages for developers and consumers, it could be cons-productive as shown by a recent case in which an application would be suspected of harming the smartphone and its users.
