Each blog has links to al-page we have links in the content, we have links in the sidebar, we have links footer navigation links … everything. This is what Google links in the same manner with equal weighting or otherwise? Is the question.

Well, technically, it’s easy to be wrong for us. Usually, webmasters and SEO links on PageRank and traffic seen on a website based. Almost every link exchange request that I ask, Text-links on the sidebar or through the door, with the typical “contextual links to a few lines text.

I want to say that “some text” is not really contextual. She bought a single keyword text links – Google  has  found – lock your Page Rank. And now you have to repeat it. Not good.

In my humble opinion, the “contextual links” are those who are in the textual content, in real time, or a copy of the article. Both can easily find you and me, what contextual and it is not. And the Google-bots are smart.

To add just a few lines of text before and after the link “buy” does not pop.

Return to the topic, all these links in different places on the same side placed, have the same meaning? As you already understood, No.

Links at the bottom of the page or the title, probably the left navigation or the copyright / TOS-link, since the majority of sites used in this way. And know the Google bots.

They would place more emphasis on links, the contents appear to give product. Footer links to get links to box / probably less important by Google, but the links in the content would be considered more important.

  • Comments Off on Watch The Sun SEO

After 10 days of night parties outdoors, the Cannes Film Festival was correct in my sleep and it is therefore on the ball (albeit under the sun) as I write this review of the week. If I have to follow certain SEO news, I totally missed out on other, carefully stored in my “read it later list”, and this post will probably be a good way to find what I planned I have read but not for lack of time (and energy).

Impressions and click through rate by position
Renaud Joly dreamed about, Google has done (or almost). In a letter concise and accurate Renaud explains one of the new console Webmaster: Display of impressions and click through rate by keyword by location. If you do not understand, I will not explain here what Renaud is well on his blog and I encourage you to visit him. Keywords, tools and methods
Be the first on a keyword that is never sought no use. I just repeat that sentence has now been close to a decade, unfortunately I feel that it serves no purpose and despite my insistence, I am sometimes forced to place a site on an application bogus but pleased the communication manager of the company.

That said, Patrice Albertus we propose a methodology to choose keywords. I use essentially the same tools and the same method that he and his post, very interesting, very educational.

How to sell on Internet

  • Comments Off on Description: Google Search Engine Works

I’ve written plenty of articles on this blog that goes through the length and breadth of Google search algorithms and the process. Today, I see this infographic and thought – this is more like it. This explains visually how a google search works. Infographics #ftw !

google search engine works

google search engine works

1. Primacy
Primacy is defined as the state of being first, or foremost.  People in general have a short attention span, but it gets even shorter when on the web.  It is important to have your Adsense banner near the top of the page.  If they have to scroll to see it, there is a good chance they will move on before even noticing the banner.  This can be hard to do and keep your website looking professional, but it is possible.  You may have to forgo this step on some of your pages to keep the integrity of your site.

2. Blending
You should take your time and develop an Adsense banner that will blend into your website.  People are more apt to click on an advertisement if they don’t know it’s an ad.  If they are interested in the ad, they will click on the link provided without thinking twice.  This is also a good way to prevent your website from looking tacky.  Garishly colored advertisements are highly noticeable and will increase the bounce rate on your site.  It can ruin the look of your site and is an insult to the eyes.

3. Utilize Your Content
If you are able to wrap your content around the advertisements, it will greatly help to increase adsense revenue.  The advertisements will look like part of your text.  This will make it much more natural for readers to click on an ad.  They are already interested in what you have to say, and now they are being given an option to continue on that topic.  Increasing Adsense revenue is about providing your readers with good content, and a way to continue exploring that content.

4. Write Keyword Focused Content
The Google Adsense program runs off on content.  If you are unable to write specific enough content for Google to know what you are talking about, the ads may be untargeted.  This is because Google has to guess.  Keywords aren’t just for driving organic traffic, they are essential to obtaining relevant advertisements on your site.  Without relevance, your ads will lose meaning. • Comments Off on A new & advanced search engine for SEOs

Well, the founders think that others might like the tool too, and it will go popular beyond SEOs. But from what we’ve seen, advanced users like SEO’s are going to love this search engine ! Which one you ask – Blekko, the new kid on the block !

I don’t think Blekko is the best name they could find but that’s okay, if the search tool does the thing neatly, then I’m happy.

TechCrunch reports that they’ve done an impressive job at simplifying advanced search. Like advanced search on Google with operators now become easy and more insightful with this tool.

From the screenshot, it looks like Blekko will be able to give you insightful data like SEO stats, and then visualize them on charts right in the search. How accurate the data is, will decide how accepted the tool will be. As for now, I’m pretty excited about it.
